Jobsite Policies

The following policies apply to all employees, temporary employees, and subcontractors and their employees, while working for and representing Integrity Remodeling, Inc. Policies apply on jobsites as well as while representing Company in other courses of business. Acceptance of employment and/or subcontracting work constitutes acceptance of policies, and compliance is expected as a condition of such. Integrity employees are responsible for enforcing policies and/or reporting violations when contractor is not present. This list is not all-inclusive, and common sense, as well as consideration of Integrity's very high standards should be used in any given situation.

  1. Site Cleanliness: Utmost care is to be given to the homeowner's property, home, and belongings. Jobsite is to be left neat and clean every day. Care for carpet, other flooring, landscaping, etc. is to be taken extremely seriously. Floors and work areas must always be well protected. Preventable damage to homeowner's property, resulting from carelessness or negligence on the part of an employee or sub may be the financial responsibility of that employee or subcontractor.
  2. Drugs/Alcohol: The use of drugs and/or alcohol is strictly forbidden on any Integrity Remodeling jobsite. Workers may not be under the influence of such substances under any circumstances. In addition, use of illegal substances, whether on or off the job, is grounds for dismissal.
  3. Smoking: Smoking is not allowed at any time. Smoke breaks are to be taken off-site (and in smoker's vehicle, if within sight or smell of homeowners or neighbors).
  4. Profanity: Foul language or inappropriate talk of any degree is not acceptable at ANY time. This includes in the absence of clients and/or neighbors. It is discourteous to other workers, and unprofessional.
  5. Clothing: When possible, employees should wear provided company shirts and hats. In addition, clothing and shoes should be appropriate to weather and working conditions. If non-company clothing must be worn (for lack of provided company clothing) it should not be offensive in any way. Shirts are to be worn at all times on the jobsite. Company tank tops are available for summer use. Please take good care of provided company clothing. Subs are to wear their own company clothing, or clothing that is not offensive as well as safe and appropriate for the task being performed.
  6. Restroom facilities: A portable facility will be provided in some cases. In other situations, it will be necessary for employees to take a break and drive to a nearby public facility. In most circumstances, it is not acceptable to use the homeowner's facilities unless permission has been given. Under no circumstances are employees or subcontractors to relieve themselves anywhere on or around the jobsite.
  7. Visitors: Guests of employees may visit for breaks or lunch, but may not enter a client's home, or walk onto an active jobsite for safety and liability reasons. In some circumstances, guests may be invited onto a jobsite, and/or permitted with prior permission from company and client. This policy also applies to pets of employees and subs.
  8. Telephone: In most circumstances, it is not acceptable to use the homeowner's or any neighbor's telephone. Please limit personal calls on cell phones to break and lunch times, and keep calls for scheduling, material ordering, and other business-related needs brief and to the point.
  9. Expectations for off-hour representation of Company: Integrity Remodeling has high expectations of its employees and representatives. It is expected that while driving company logo vehicles, drivers will conduct themselves legally and courteously. When wearing company clothing in public, please keep in mind that you are representing the company, whether or not you are conducting business. Illegal activity, whether or not it is done in company clothing, is grounds for dismissal.
